Pakistan vs New Zealand T20 Series 2020

December 19, 2020 by admin Leave a Comment

fter a build-up that was less than ideal, with Misbah-ul-Haq, the Pakistan coach, admitting the team considered pulling out of the tour as strict quarantine protocols in New Zealand took its toll, the series is set to get underway from Friday.

However, some big names are missing from both sides. Pakistan will be without their captain and star batsman Babar Azam, who broke his thumb during practice. Shadab Khan and Imam-ul-Haq have both been nursing injuries in the build-up to the match. Meanwhile, New Zealand left out the veteran Ross Taylor from their T20I squad, while their express paceman Lockie Ferguson was ruled out with injury.

There is still plenty of quality across both sides to make it a contest to watch out for, however, especially with the T20 World Cup 2021 now less than a year away.
The matches, played in Auckland, Hamilton and Napier, will all begin at 7pm local time. Find below the live telecast and streaming schedule of the New Zealand v Pakistan T20Is.

Probable Playing XI:

New Zealand: Tim Seifert (WK), Martin Guptill, Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, James Neesham, Mark Chapman, Mitchell Santner (C), Scott Kuggeleijn, Ish Sodhi, Jacob Duffy, and Blair Tickner/Doug Bracewell.
Pakistan: M Rizwan (WK), Abdullah Shafique, Haider Ali, M Hafeez, Shadab Khan (C), Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Faheem Ashraf, Wahab Riaz, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf.

Match Details:

Match: 1st T20I Match: Pakistan vs New Zealand
Date: Friday, December 18th, 2020
Time: 11:00 AM PST, 01:30 AM IST
Venue: Eden Park, Auckland
Pakistan vs Newzealand, both teams are without their best captains as Babar Azam, and Kane Williamson won’t be in the T20I matches. When both teams faced each other back in January 2018, Pakistan whitewashed New Zealand in UAE.
The batting line up of Pakistan is a little weak as they don’t have both Babar Azam and Imam ul Haq on the Playing XI. The bowling side of Pakistan has the pace trio of Wahab Riaz, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf.
Despite New Zealand resting Kane Williamson and Trent Boult, their place would be taken by Glenn Phillips and Mitchell Santner. In the absence of both sides captain, Shadab Khan will lead the Pakistan XI. On the other hand, Mitchell Santner will lead Newzealand XI in this T20I series.

India vs Australia 3rd T20 Match

December 8, 2020 by admin Leave a Comment

India will be keen to clean sweep Australia in the T-20 series as they gear up to take on the hosts Australia in the third and the final T-20 on Tuesday.. The match will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground and is scheduled to begin at 7:10 PM local time.
Neither Jasprit Bumrah nor Mohammed Shami were required in the series-clinching win on Sunday night with India’s attack doing the job in pegging back Australia after conceding a fast start. T Natarajan was outstanding again with the ball while Shardul Thakur played a role as well in controlling Australia through the middle overs after Matthew Wade’s onslaught.

ndia vs Australia 3rd T20I preview

Australia have already lost the series after going down to India in the first two T20 games. After losing the ODI series 2-1 to the hosts, the visitors avenged their defeat by winning the T20I series. The Men in Blue now have an opportunity to go one step further and whitewash the Aussies, something which the Aaron Finch-led side failed to do in the ODI series after leading 2-0. On the other hand, Australia will look to save their pride by winning this fixture and going into the all-important four-match Test series with a psychological advantage.

Sydney weather forecast

The weather during India vs Australia 3rd T20I will be sunny. According to AccuWeather, the temperature in Sydney is expected to be around 19°C during the commencement of the match. The temperature will decrease a little during the finishing stages 18°C at around 5:00 PM (IST).
Meanwhile, the humidity levels throughout the course of the match will be ideal and will hover between 51-61%. There will be a little cloud cover during the match and with no real chances of rains whatsoever, one can expect an uninterrupted and a fascinating India vs Australia 3rd T20I at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

India vs Australia pitch report

The SCG surface is a sporting one which will have equal assistance for batsmen, as well as, bowlers. Pacers will get a considerable amount of purchase from the pitch with the new ball. There’s a decent amount of spin the SCG wicket. Batsmen should look to settle down at the crease before going for big shots.

Team news

Australia coach Justin Langer said captain Aaron Finch was a chance to return for Tuesday’s clash despite missing Sunday’s loss due to a minor glute strain. If Finch does return, Short would be the obvious man to either slide down the order or make way altogether. Steven Smith could also be rested which would open the door for Marcus Stoinis to move up to No.3 and perhaps give Alex Carey another opportunity after he was dropped for Wade in England. The attack may well be unchanged with no need to risk Hazlewood who missed Sunday’s match with back soreness.
Australia:
Team Australia (possible) 1 Aaron Finch/D’Arcy Short, 2 Matthew Wade, 3 Steven Smith, 4 Glenn Maxwell, 5 Moises Henriques, 6 Marcus Stoinis, 7 Sean Abbott, 8 Daniel Sams, 9 Mitchell Swepson, 10 Adam Zampa, 11 AJ Tye
India have no reason to make a change unless anyone needs a rest before the Test series. There is no need for India to play Shami or Bumrah and both could get an extended break to prepare themselves for their Test workloads.
India
Team India (possible) 1 Shikhar Dhawan, 2 KL Rahul, 3 Virat Kohli, 4 Sanju Samson, 5 Shreyas Iyer, 6 Hardik Pandya, 7 Shardul Thakur, 8 Washington Sundar, 9 Deepak Chahar, 10 T Natarajan, 11 Yuzvendra Chahal
