Sri Lanka Tour of Pakistan Announced – 3 T20 & 3 ODI’S

Sri Lanka tour Pakistan confirmed and Sri lanka team coming to pakistan for three International Twenty twenty matches and same number of T20 in last week of September. Pakistan host any series after a long time, ticks available on official website of PCB.

Cricket matches will be played on two cricket grounds in pakistan Karachi’s National Stadium & Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Series will start with first ODI match from 27 September and end with last T20 on 9 October. Sri Lankan government has allowed its cricket team to visit Pakistan. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board has also notified the Pakistan Cricket Board in this regard.

The Pakistan Cricket Board and Sri Lanka Cricket today announced to swap upcoming matches of the split series in Pakistan, meaning the ODIs and the T20Is will now be played from 27 September to 9 October while the Tests will be held in December.

The PCB is pleased with the outcome of its discussions with Sri Lanka Cricket, which has supported Pakistan in its efforts and endeavors for the complete revival of international cricket,” PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani said. “The tour for limited-overs matches will also provide Sri Lanka with an even better understanding of the ground situation before discussing schedule of the Tests.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Cricket Board told the Ten Sports that the Sri Lankan Cricket Board has confirmed that, the visit will be in accordance with the schedule.
Earlier, Sri Lankan Cricket Board Secretary “de Silva” told news agency “AFP” on Thursday that the Sri Lankan Ministry of Defense had given regular permission to visit. The High Commission of Pakistan in Sri Lanka also contacted the Sri Lankan government and ensured that Pakistan provide the full security to the Sri Lankan team and they will be safe in Pakistan.
Some Sri lanka player refuse to come pakistan with team including Dickwella, Perera & some other senior players. Sri lanka board take the action against these players and not give NOC for caribbean premier league.
Sri Lanka’s team will play three ODIs and three T20 Internationals during tour of pakistan. Sri Lanka team 2nd time tour of Pakistan for the second time in 2 years. Last time Sri Lankan played T20 International in Lahore in October 2017.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s trying to bring back International Cricket in Pakistan. Many teams including World XI, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka have visited Pakistan in the last two years. In addition, several matches of Pakistan Super League have been held in Pakistan, including three finals.
